A nostalgic Charlie is searching through his college trunk when he comes across an old photo of his football team which catches Junior's interest. Charlie passes himself off as the team's star but Bessie insists he was only good at being their "water boy". Charlie, determined to prove Bessie wrong, attempts to show Junior a thing or two about the game. But Bessie was right; Charlie isn't the most experienced athlete. He dresses as a tackling dummy which leads to disaster.

Woody is reading the tale of Little Red Riding Hood... and soon finds himself living the fable when a sobbing Red confronts him, telling him how a mean wolf has been bullying her on her entire trip to Grandma's. Woody plans to get even with the fiendish (and totally stupid) wolf by swapping places with her and going to HIS Grandma's. While walking past a pet shop, a dog catches Woody's attention, Woody buys him, names him Duffy and takes him home., Woody lives at Mrs. Meany's Boarding House and no dog are allowed, so Woody goes through many attempts to sneak Duffy in under Mrs. Meany's nose.

A sadistic big game hunter, Hyde Skinner (a self-described Fur Trapper And All Around Dirty Guy), uses a poor little turtle as a pack mule. He does his best to kill any animal he can for the sport of it, for furs, etc. Skinner is out to trap an egotistical lion, who struts along with scat-like banter. Hyde Skinner sets a trap for the lion, and corners him in a cave. He tries to force him out with a lit stick of dynamite, which the lion pushes back at Skinner.

Spies Sneak, Snoop and Snitch try to sneak up on the king while he is sleeping in order to steal some riches.

A Columbia Color Phantasy (production number 8702) that finds a professor washed up on a barren island with the only inhabitant a vulture, with an uncanny resemblance to Jimmy Durante, whose goal is to hasten the demise, and make a meal of the professor. (imdb)

Little Bigfeather, an Indian, wants to hunt and eat moose, but a turkey oddly wants to be chased instead. Very bizarre ending in this one.

The fox and crow are sharing grapes while the crow reads a book about a similar fox and crow sharing grapes who eventually fought it out for the last one. What a coincidence... at that moment, there is only one grape left. Both try to pretend they don't want it but each secretly tries to make off with the last grape first. They try using a fishing rod only to hook each other. The crow sneaks across in a pair of underwear but is discovered by the fox. (imdb)

The cat and mouse are in their usual game of chase-and-pursue until the mouse hides in a pickled-herring barrel. The cat gets intoxicated from inhaling the fumes and immediately becomes the mouse's newest best friend. He defends the mouse from a mean alley cat, and the mouse invites him to come home with him. There, the mouse takes care of him and sobers him up, and the cat immediately begins to chase him again. He reaches the barrel again and regains his newest best friend. (imdb)

A bear, plagued with mice, lures a tiger cub (thinking it's a cat) to take care of the mice. The tiger scares the mice at first, but really has no interest in them, so the mice have fun with the bear, painting a glow-in-the-dark mouse on its bottom for the tiger to attack and leading the tiger on a house-wrecking chase with a steak. The tiger ends up hanging out and smoking cigars with the mice.

When a hunter attempts to set his sights on Quacky the Duck, he instead finds himself being hunted by Quacky himself.

Jivey Old Mother "Hubba-Hubba" Hubbard, formerly square Old Mother Hubbard, goes to her cupboard, and finds it bare as it was before she became hep. Her dog is most upset because his bone was there and is now missing. He forms a searching party, including some hip-and-hep cats, but the cupboard-raiding mouse of the house stays several notes ahead of them.

Out in the desert, a dopey wolf tries to catch an obnoxious rabbit.

The Fox, once again, is plagued with a toothache, and once again is in search for a dentist to relieve his agony, and he, once again, finds Mr. Crow, pretending to be a dentist. This leads to no end of painful consequences for Mr. Fox.

Kitty's owner introduces her to a puppy who will befriend and Kitty realizes that when the puppy grows up he becomes Kitty's enemy because dogs hate cats and makes a chase in the yard at the end of the flashback of kitty for the puppy and kitty chases the puppy and the horse gets into the garbage can.

A self-promoted and bragging mongrel is trying to prove his status to a doubting-parrot and accidentally swallows the cuckoo from a clock. The parrot tries to extricate the cuckoo from the dog, where the cuckoo seems to be content. The cuckoo and parrot are engaged in combat within the dog, which is not a pretty picture, and following the brawl, the cuckoo is now seen emerging at intervals from the parrot's mouth, which is also not a pretty picture.

This cartoon is a series of blackout gags, as we set sail in New York harbor, visit a series of ports of call in totally random order, and return to New York. It's narrated by Knox Manning, or a very good imitator.
