A man believes that the baby in his livingroom is the "surprise" his wife messaged him about, and must contend with the real father's attempts to get his daughter back.

At a magic show put on by Blondini the magician, a member of the audience is invited up to participate. He gets into all sorts of shenanigans, tripping over the stage curtain, sending ducks up through the wrong trapdoors. He can hardly believe his eyes when a girl is sawn in half!

The Trombone family is very musically inclined, but their neighbours, the painter Pierre van Hall and his wife, are being driven crazy. This turns into a fight between the neighbours that gets way out of hand, because their reactions to each other become increasingly extreme; at one point a brass band is even used. The police ultimately force the quarrelling neighbours to make peace, by threatening them with jail.

Her mother wants Marjorie to marry this upper class twit, though the audience sure doesn't! Marjorie plans on pleasing her mother but soon meets a very handsome young man and is smitten...but he's just a 'lowly ice man' and mother doesn't approve.

Harry Barris wants to get married to Eleanor Hunt, but there's an impediment in the way, so he tells her he'll sing "I Surrender, Dear" during his broadcast if they can be wed.

Daisy is visiting her sailor boyfriend Glenn aboard a submarine when it leaves port. Fearful of what may happen if an officer discovers a woman on board, she is hidden in a big chest.

In order to escape from the police after a small car accident, Bobby dresses as a girl and a sailor in a boat ride.

In the story, Dr. Huff is beating up process servers. While he doesn't mind that his wife is divorcing him, he feels he's too busy to go to court. Additionally, he's informed the hospital staff to NOT allow any of these process servers in the place. Unfortunately, Bobby (Bobby Vernon) is instructed to serve this angry doc.
