Blue Demon

Mexican film about the Bermuda Triangle.

The last movie in a loose series of wrestlers vs. mummies flicks that began with Las Momias de Guanajuato, starring Blue Demon and Superzán in a story that includes cursed gold, mummies (naturally) and even Satan himself.

Blue Demon is confronted by an invasion of seemingly humanoid aliens who turn out to actually be large spiders from space.

A mad scientist is waking up the undead and the monsters to conquer the world. In this movie Santo fights The Vampire,the She Vampire,the Mummy,the Cyclops,the Werewolf,the Evil Scientist, a Midget, a Walking Giant Brain, the Living Dead and a Frankestein that drives.

Turning in a solid performance, Blue Demon shoulders the burden of stardom in this one- although longtime friendly rival El Santo manages to pop up here, as well. Blue proves more than a match for "the powers of Satan," and, being (as noted) a credible enough performer, keeps things interesting both in the ring and out. Of all the luchadores, it seems to me, Blue Demon was perhaps the most interesting (next to Santo himself). (imdb)

The plot has something to do with the scientist trying to take over the world with his super powered army of little people. He's amped them up with one of his gadgets and even the smallest of them can take on one of the biggest wrestlers, which is good because his opposition is an army made up of wrestlers including Mil Mascaras and the Blue Demon. Mano Negra sends a group of dwarves led by Aker to the state laboratory to kidnap the professor Arego and obtain the formula for the cultivation of microorganisms. The formula is divided among his four daughters. The dwarves take capsules that make them invisible and kidnap the girls.
