Antony Simon (Mammootty), CI Crime Branch, once a sharp officer, now has his world centered around his son Aadi (Dhananjay), with the result that he gets suspended from work for negligence. But when he saves a famous cricketer Sreekanth (Govind Padmasoorya) from a bunch of thugs, he gets famous & gets his job back. However, his world is shattered when he shoots a civvy by error & soon after Aadi is kidnapped by some thugs in revenge for Antony arresting dreaded don Bheembhai (Ashish Vidyarthi).

Mohan (Mammootty), a school teacher, who was crazy about acting, jeopardizes his teaching career & family in search of a role. After being told by a director that Mohan needs to know the characters better for a violent crime movie the director was planning, Mohan joins a criminal gang to observe them in the hope of bagging a role in the movie, but soon is unwittingly drawn himself into the world of crime.

Meenakshi (Asha Sharath) & Padma (Bhoomika Chawla), a lesbian couple has a son, Vishnu (Mithun Murali), by artificial insemination. Vishnu finds out the identity of his biological father - Manikunju Thadikkaran (Anoop Menon) - through some old medical records & goes in search of him. Manikunju meanwhile lives a bachelors life with his friends in Ooty. The entry of Vishnu into his life awakens feelings of fatherhood for Manjikunju, which he finds trouble to come to terms with.

Rameshan (Nivin Pauly), along with his friends were part of a cricket team in their village & their lives were consumed by their passion for cricket & admiration for Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Rameshan's parents hated his cricket craze & Rameshan ends up being a inferior student & an nonachiever. However, seeing his own son Kannan's (Bagath Abrid) love for cricket, Rameshan encourages him & tries to get him professionally trained under former Kerala team coach Vijay Menon (Anoop Menon).

Two chronic alcoholics - 'Paampu' Joy (Prithviraj) & 'Paavada' Babu (Anoop Menon) - meet at a rehab where they realize they had a shared past. Joy's mother Sicily (Asha Sharath) was the heroine of a movie called 'Paavada' which Babu had produced several year ago. However, the movie didn't turn out to be what Babu & Sicily intended, as it was altered by assistant director Eldho Kunnanthanam (Kalabhavan Shajohn). Now Eldho is planning for a re-release of the movie which Joy & Babu tries to stop.
