Dave Saunders and his sidekick Chito, cowhands looking for work, arrive in Sundown Valley, Wyoming just in time to stop sheep ranch foreman Jess Rawlins from lynching cattleman Tug Caldwell. Rawlins seems set on starting a range war; but why? Leon forgets his wedding anniversary and is in the doghouse checking the date on his wedding certificate and learns that it wasn't signed, so concludes he and Dorothy aren't married. Dorothy doesn't see that as a large problem, so she and Leon decide they will take new spouses. But they find out that they are securely knotted, and decide it is all for the best that way.

Faced with a police raid ordered by Errol's wife, turned Reform League president, the manager of the local burleque theatre sends one of the girls over to get friendly with Errol.

Slim gets a job as a door-to-door salesman but soon winds up, through a case of mistaken identity, as the target of a very jealous husband and Slim, as usual in this series, employs a variety of face expressions and very little comedy.
