In this comedy short not-so-smart copper Bert Lahr gets in over his head when he becomes a mock candidate for mayor.

Bob, his girlfriend and her mother are driving through South America. Bob wants to get married at the next town, Los Poach-os Egg-os, where they are currently holding a festival called Dontdoit Day. The road to wedded bliss for Bob and his girl hits a slight bump as his girl catches the eye of a dashing gaucho, and the Mayor, who is the only official in town who can perform the wedding, refuses to do so on Dontdoit Day.

Sally Newton is in love with Lee Sullivan, a young tenor singer with Johnny Johnson's Orchestra, but her father prefers a stuffy young clerk as her suitor. She makes him taker her to the nightclub where Lee sings. Lee has arranged for Sally to elope with him, his song "Let's Take It on the Chin" being the signal for her. But the clerk has hired a tough gangster to keep Lee from singing.

One of only ten made, starring The Cabin Kids a musical quintet made up of five black brothers and sisters. They were ushered in to show business by their aunt and legal guardian and appeared in several motion pictures before vanishing from the public's consciousness, not much is known about them. This short, directed by esteemed comedy producer Al Christie, also stars silent comic Toto The Clown in one of his last film appearances and one of his only talkies.

Buster West plays a young man who wants to marry a lady. But there's a problem...her father is a complete grouch! So the plan is to invite her and her father to dinner. And, after feeding him a great dinner, he'll be more likely to give his approval. But there are some problems. First, Buster gets his friend (Tom Patricola) to pose as his butler AND relies on this guy to cook the meal.

The Cabin Kids, in between song and dance numbers, are at the county fair with intentions, fair or foul, of helping Mammy win the Pancakes cooking contest. (The Cabin Kids were: Ruth Hall, Helen Hall, James "Darling" Hall, Winifred "Sugar" Hall, and Little Frederick Hall).

In this short film from Educational Pictures, Ernest Truex stars as a man who doesn't like kids and prefers dogs. This gets him in good with the boss, as several other potential candidates for a transfer to South America were ineligible since they had families and didn't want to leave the country. But since Ernest doesn't want kids, he manages the promotion. Of course, there's FAR more to this story...especially when he comes home and finds a baby!

The members of the Lonely Hearts Club aren't mixing, so Harriet Hutchins takes decisive action. She gets the female membership to put on a floor show, which breaks the ice and makes the club a success. The reel features three dance routines, and a song by Harriet, "I Hate This Thing Called Swing."

When the story begins, Harry the Heaver calls a judge and threatens him. The police, however, have no idea where the crook is...so he hires two idiots to follow Harry's girlfriend so that they can lead them to his hideout. Unfortunately, since they are pretty dim, they end up following the judge's wife instead!

Men are relaxing in the bunkhouse, when in walks James Melton, who sings some old songs. After he goes through "Red River Valley", "Home on the Range", "The Big Corral", and "The Old Chisholm Trail" -- while the screen shows cowboys wrangling cattle -- he leaves, despite offers to stay the night and give him breakfast.

In "The Wrong Bottle", Tom is annoyed since his freeloading brother-in-law lives with them and he's quite thoughtless. After some arguing, the brother-in-law informs Tom that his insurance policy has lapsed....and soon after this Tom thinks he's accidentally drank poison. However, when he heads to the store to buy some antidote, he's frustrated by a dopey druggist and other store employees....and there's more craziness after this.

Buster West and Tom Patricola deliver a wax model to Madame LaTour's fashion show, and decide to help the models who are having trouble with the director, who is going to fire them because they won't date him. So they introduce the dummy to the director as "The Princess" and use ventriloquism and motions to make him believe she is real.

Eddie Lambert is an advice columnist and radio personality. People come to him with problems, and he offers solution. In the third of three 'Uncle Sol' movies, Lambert deal with four sets of problems which gives the opportunity for four performances: a ventriloquist, a tap-dancing sextet, a decent swing trio, and Beverly Sills singing "Il bacio" at the age of seven.

Solly (Solly Ward) is in love with Jane ('Jane PIckens')but Jame's father can't afford a big wedding. So he schemes with Solly's father, his business partner, to stage a big quarrel that will prompt Jane and Solly to elope. Complications arise.

Pals Herman and Pat, with diamond rings in hand, are all set to make marriage proposals. Pat is bashful, however, so Herman broaches the subject to Pat's girl. The girl's parents think Herman is the suitor, and invite him to dinner. Meanwhile, Herman's own prospective in-laws are hosting a dinner, too, so Herman and Pat dash from one dining room to the other, trying to straighten things out.

Pat wants to marry Nancy, but her mother refuses. Pat gets Herman to pose as Nancy's new suitor, expecting that he will be refused in favor of Pat. But mother tricks them by welcoming Herman into the family, and Pat has to do some quick thinking to get Herman off the hook.

Newlywed Pat gets a raise from his boss. Herman, seeing how simple it is, tells his boss of his own marriage plans. All goes well until both bosses drop in on both young men to "meet the bride." Pat's bride finds herself playing both wives.

With Buddy Page and his Orchestra providing most of the music, an uncle of the Cabin Kids loads them in a trailer and heads for Florida. There, he finds the trailer camp needs a cook, so they find their "heaven" right there as he goes to work on fried chicken for the camp guests, and the kids provide the harmony with their songs.

Buddy Page hires the Cabin Kids (young singers and dancers) to lock up the old band maestro who has the band in uniforms and playing boring music. The Kids also walk the town with signs advertising a new swing band.

Miss Klutz is the worst dancer that has ever enrolled at the school ran by Maestro Boris Cobblier, and he is even considering giving her money back to get rid of her, a consideration not to his financial liking. But the owner of a competing dance school has lost her prize dancer and calls on Cobblier with a request to borrow one of his dancers. Seeing a way to kill two birds with one stone---get rid of Miss Klutz and ruin a competitor---he gladly loans Miss Klutz out.

Bert Lahr is a butler in the employ of some newly-rich family. His sweetheart kitchen-worker gives away his sweepstakes ticket to the chauffeur. It turns out to be the big winner. Then Bert has to go to work trying to convince the chauffeur to give him his ticket back, and the chauffeur has no intention of doing so.

Dancing, singing and some mild humor in this rather unknown 2 reeler.
