The fifth of eight low-budget Westerns starring Lane Chandler, this Willis Kent production was apparently filmed at Hollywood's International studios in 1932 but not released until 1934. Chandler plays Bob Rand, an investigator for the Cattleman's Association hired to capture El Lobo, a notorious rustler. Bob quickly learns that the wanted outlaw is actually Big Mike Carter (J.P. Barker is after the Andrews ranch and kills Bart Andrews. But Bart had sent for Cliff and Cliff now arrives and takes over the fight against Barker. To get the necessary hands to drive Andrews' herd to market, Cliff makes a deal with Barker saying hew will give him half the money collected. Both Cliff and Barker then make plans to double-cross the other when the cattle are sold.

The Rangers are after a large outlaw gang. Dart arrives early with the rest of the troop following disguised as a medicine show. Dart learns Lupton is behind the gold shipment robberies and gets proof from his safe. Dart then plans a gold shipment figuring Lupton's men will attack again and this time the Rangers will be ready.

Brad Buckner has just bought a ranch. Murdock keeps his rustled cattle on the ranch and sends his men to kill Buckner just as they did the previous owners. But Buckner and his men foil their attempts and decide to search the ranch. To throw Buckner off he kidnaps Buckner's girl friend and the Sheriff and makes plans to drive the cattle across the border.

Kenyon has the newly arriving Ranger shot and his man Martin assume the Ranger's identity. Clay finds the Ranger before he dies and learns the truth. But when Clay confronts Martin, Martin convinces the townspeople he is a real Ranger and Clay is the murderer. Clay escapes and must now find a way to expose Martin as a fake.
