Anthony Dawes

Billy Bowles, a talent scout for a recording company, is not given just credit for his work by his boss, Max Catlin. In addition, he conceals his weekly visits to an orphanage, where he grew up, from his wealthy girl friend, Julie, who suspects him of being secretly married. When the orphanage is threatened with closure Billy organizes a charity concert to help. (BFI)
