Best pals Amal (Amal), Eric (Sandeep Menon) & Babloo (Ameer Niyas) often face off with a girl gang in college led by Nikita (Aanchal Sabharwal) & Varsha (Oviya) & their latest skirmish results in them being debarred, accused of beating up their college-mate Kishore (Anand). They go in search of Kishore to his village, where they find that Kishore's & his family's life has been made miserable by his uncle Parthan Pillai (Shivaji Guruvayoor). They team up with Kishore to fight back against Pillai.

Aliened lovers, ace cameraman Venu (Mohanlal) & reporter Renuka (Amala Paul), go on the run after they are duped into broadcasting a fake murder on TV, when the murdered man shows up alive later. This was a plot hatched by politico Bharathan Pillai (Saikumar) & businessman Rajan Kartha (Siddique) to mend their images, once ruined by Venu & Renuka in a previous sting operation. Venu & Renuka try to untangle the plot & prove their innocence, while battling their own torpid feelings for each other.
