The beautiful Mari Pepa lives with her brother and her aunt in the slums of Madrid. Because of the ragamuffins of her brother, petty thief, she is forced to move house, ending up, coincidences of life, to the courtyard where Felipe lives, who seeks for her for a long time.

Malvaloca is a rather foolish and beautiful girl living with her careless parents. After being abandoned by a man she has a daughter. Later she meets Salvador; when he has an accident she meets his friend Leonardo and they both fall in love. She will try to redeem herself from her past life.
