In an alternate history and unnamed "Great Disaster" has taken place and Argentina bases its new government on the classic Perón model from the 1940s. The government offers prices and a higher education to a select group that has to learn all about the Good Fairy, Eva Perón. The family that concerns the movie, therefore, constantly adopts deformed freaks in order to teach them and win the prize.
