The film outlines the passionate but also dangerous relationship between the actress Alison and the glamor crook Quinten. But Quinten also goes through fire for her and goes after her manager when it turns out that he has run off with her wages. However, this confrontation turns out to be fatal for Quinten, on the eve of the premiere of Alison's show.

Unexpected twists, maximum tension, and a surprising conclusion characterize the eleven episodes of this drama series. The show is based on stories by American author Henry Slesar, but adapted to the contemporary Dutch setting. Marc Nelissen is among those responsible for the adaptation.
