Sci-fi film quote, what film

This one stumped me. The quote is sampled in a few darkwave and synth rock songs.
“if its such a simple device how is it every time a cube goes out theres a major crisis here”
“the idea of paying completely without touching anything” is also included in one song but I believe this is a different film.
Any idea on either?
Cube 1/2/0 especially the last: came to mind but the voice acting didn’t fit the film’s right.

Are you certain about the quotes being verbatim? Also, do you have any specific song that it was sampled in that I could hear?
