If you search by a movie/game's subtitle, search suggestions don't work.

Sometimes a full search doesn't even work, like when I searched "Mirage" for Assassin's Creed Mirage in the game section. It seems that perhaps this happens when an exact match is found for the words I used in the search, since there was another game just called "Mirage". I've seen this happen with movies too, although I can't think of any examples right now.

I used to be able to search by the subtitle and search suggestions worked fine.

EDIT: It seems it won't find my title in the full search if there are any other titles that START with the words I've used. For example, I searched for "Valhalla" to find Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but it only showed games that started with the word Valhalla.

Thanks for pointing this out! It should work in the way you expect, so it does seem as though there's an issue here. We'll take a look and update here once it's fixed!

Tried searching for "Last Blood" and didn't get "Rambo: Last Blood" in the search suggestions. I did see it in the full search results, although it was a bit down the list.

EDIT: "Under the Red Hood" didn't show in search suggestions either.

"Legend of the Jungle" didn't show "Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle" in either search suggestions or the full search results

"The Killing Joke" doesn't show "Batman: The Killing Joke" in search suggestions, although it does appear in full results


Found another strange search issue. Searching for "Land of the Lost" gives me these results:

That one showed the correct title in suggestions but now it's not there in full results. I didn't click the suggestion because I couldn't remember what year the movie I was looking for was from.

Another odd issue: I can find Saturday Night (2024) through the search suggestions, but it doesn't appear in the full search results. Same thing with Speak No Evil

Thanks so much for reporting this, with all the examples -- that's really helped I think.

Could you give it another shot now? The auto-complete is a little different because speed is so important, so that's why there are some discrepancies between its results and the full search. But we've made it a little smarter.

Let us know if anything still appears to be off!

Most of the examples I gave above are working well now, except for "Legend of the Jungle" which is oddly giving the same two results I posted in the image above when I was searching for "Land of the Lost" last night.

I'll let you know if I run into any other issues.
