Ghost in the Shell
The Lion King
Princess Mononoke
Toy Story
Aladdin
Porco Rosso
Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence
Beauty and the Beast
Grave of the Fireflies
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Iron Giant
A Scanner Darkly
Several years ago I was into anime pretty deep. I've outgrown that phase, but since I've taken an interest in movies I find myself still drawn to feature-length anime, but not television series. I think Porco Rosso is ridiculously underlooked among Miyazaki's work.

If this were a month ago I probably would have given a reason why, but there's no use on this forum I've discovered.

I've moderated this topic, by picking the moment in time where it seemed to be getting out of hand, and deleting all the posts following it.
If you'd like a G-rated recap of what was deleted, I'll try to provide one here:
"Hey, calm down!"
"You calm down, too"
"I think everyone should calm down!"
"Okay, I'll try and calm down"
Appeal to your better natures! All the anger for a thread on Animated films? Walt Disney must be rolling in his grave...

Re: Favourite animated films
My favorite animated film of all time, by the way, is Wall-E, with Spirited Away coming in a close second.
My least favorite is Shark Tale.
I've been told by many friends, and by Criticker, that I should watch Grave of the Fireflies. But, for some reason, I think it will be too sad, and I've always intentionally avoided it. Should I bite the bullet?

I was asleep when all this "good stuff" supposedly happened. Wonder if I missed anything juicy.

What's Pixar's best film? There's so many I haven't seen.

Re: Favourite animated films
Of Pixar's films my favorite is Wall-E. Other than that the only ones I seem to have rated high beside Toy Story are the shorts.
