xXx: Return of Xander Cage

Man was this film a waste. It's nothing like the original or even the sequel. It tries to be Fast & Furious meets Mission Impossible meets Point Break meets The Expendables but doesn't pull off anyone of them let alone all of them. Tony Jaa is criminally under utilized, I was hoping Donnie Yen could bring some life to this franchise and elevate it but most of Donnie's action scenes are so poorly handled you can't even see what's going on. Most of the movie is spent winking at the camera and worshiping Xander Cage ie Vin Diesel which nearly had me walking out of the theater. A big plus for the Ice Cube cameo even though his dialogue was just as atrocious as everyone else's.
