Death Cage

A strangely goofy, low-budget, mediocre kung fu film. The acting is pretty bad and the martial arts are very sloppy, add to that the fact that there is barely any action in the first 40 minutes of the film. Robin Shou is the lead for the first 45 minutes or so and then he is sidelined during a dumb 10-minute fight scene, side character training scene, and lame villain retraining montage before returning to the forefront. Having the hero fight the guy he easily beat while hurt and drugged earlier in the film wasn't the smartest choice.
