good movie

This drama has some cute and touching moments, but crucially also lacks the emotional heft to make its mawkish moments affecting. For every genuine scene showing real chemistry, there seems to be an ill-conceived K-pop romantic montage or poetic slow-motion tangent which brings a soap opera feel to this otherwise beautifully-shot tale. The Koreans do love that sort of thing but I don't think this will export as well as, for instance, My Sassy Girl, which really turned on the waterworks.

Super duper cheesy, but it's interesting enough to watch till the end. Quite sweet and a little sad
