During a drug raid, a narcotics officer confronts a strange Voodoo priest named Dr. Death, who is chanting. The officer and the priest shoot it out and they both wind up dead. Later, the two rise from their graves and return to the land of the living as zombies. Dr. Death is resurrected with a new mission in mind, to take over the world. The "zombie" cop enlists the aid of his old police buddies to stop the mad priest. (imdb)

God bless you Zombie Cop for being an hour long. Wish I could’ve been a fly on the wall during the Hey let’s paint a white guy brown and wrap a towel around his head for the convenience store character. It’s so shocking even the boom mic lowers into the scene in utter disbelief when the guy totally botches his Indian accent.

More police action film than horror. I couldn't believe they named a guy Death. Then not only is he a voodoo black guy, he's a mass murderer wanted in Boston (or was it several states)he kills children and probably does horrible things to them, plus he deals drugs, but apparently only has one henchman in the form of a useless Shaggy. Fav scene: fight to guy's home where he's watching Robot Ninja, followed by a fantastic car chase.
