The cursed legacy for the young state are drunkards and truants, who have not yet rebuilt their lives in the new social conditions. But life is changing: the inhabitants of the commune dormitory, a huge, cubist-style house, “orderly” run in the morning for exercise, eat in the canteen, which resembles a factory conveyor belt.

Where has this piece of moral Soviet propaganda been hiding? A film by David Maryan that take on the fools and drunkards that doesn't fall in line with the Communist work ideology. Soviet cinema was still going silent at the time and it tells the story so well visually that it's rather enriching experience regardless of your philosophical standpoint. The story can be transformed into any culture of good and bad, but naturally it's sprinkled with Soviet imagery, so there's no escaping that bit.
