Zero Patience

I'm not gonna say the film doesn't have problems, it notably pushes Dr Joseph Sonnabend's HIV/AIDS denialism. However as a solid rebuke of the view that a patient loses their humanity and autonomy once becoming ill, this is a film that isn't only of interest to researchers of queer history but to disabled people too. A bold, camp rejection of academic sanitisation,simplicity and scaremongering leads to a film that knows what it means to be alive, and knows what it means to die.
