Zastava

Yugoslavian war film using the cruelty of the Ustasha (Croatian fascists) as its base while mixing it with the story of ballet dancer to add some art to it. I've seen so few Yugoslavian on my journey that there was a feeling of freshness to this, but for an outsider to internal politics of the region, especially during those complicated times, it was hard to get full understanding of the alliance. Still it adds to the extended World War II history that I'm not very familiar with.
