Endearingly bizarre little film, one of those such that you wonder how the dickens anybody managed to think of doing something like this

Perhaps my favorite of the Barta shorts. It's a nice collection of parodies of famous films -- as told by gloves. After the Keystone Cops beginning, you might think, yeah, this has played out, but then it morphs into a romantic melodrama, and then on to a noir and a war movie and a few science fiction shoutouts. You don't need to know all of the film references, but it's a lot funnier if you recognize more than a few of them.
