Young Winston

Solid, stately biopic covering the early life of Churchill is produced and directed with typical class and style by Attenborough & Co, with Ward's uncannily convincing lead performance matched by wonderful support work from Bancroft and Shaw as his parents. Second half loses the cohesion of part 1, as it focuses more on a series of incidents rather than developing a narrative, (this being a common flaw in most biopics) but overall its strengths far outweigh any flaws.

Good action sequences, filled in with some of the worst voices ever to be in a movie, but lets face it Winson Churchill could only make good cinema if it were a silent movie.

Agreeable biopic/adventure story.

Lively biopic.
