Shirley Temple and her "parents" Jack Oakie & Charlotte Greenwood do their best with a weak script. Energetic performances with all the cute stuff Temple is known for, except now she's 12 and this type of material doesn't work as well as when she was younger. The script also takes for granted peoples feeling, shortcutting emotional moments bigtime! But enjoy it for a good Oakie & Greenwood pairing and a few sweet sparkles.
