An early feature for Claudette Colbert, and her only opposite her husband at the time, Norman Foster. The source, a Katherine Brush novel, makes for a very modern-minded setup, with rumination on open marriage figuring prominently. Also, Ginger Rogers screen debut as the flapper who'd lead the wandering husband down the garden path. Her character may still be in school, but the act she's got going is pure Helen Kane. "Cigarette me, big boy!"

A very pre-code story where adultery is almost accepted in very modern way. Claudette Colbert is married with struggling sports reporter Norman Foster, so she starts to help out with making money and begins dating a publisher who buys her writing. Foster on the other hand starts dating a schoolgirl. That girl is played by dark-haired Ginger Rogers in her first feature film. The film doesn't really come out right. A lot of poor scenes and primitive production methods. It kind of just feels weird.
