You Again is a film that takes an okay premise, plays every scene as safely as possible, and is almost never actually funny because of this. Its actors don't have great timing, the jokes aren't sharp, the ending doesn't make sense, there's no real sense of flow, and I felt bored and uninterested throughout. You have absolutely no reason to watch this film, and if you do, you're throwing your time out the window, giving it to something that doesn't deserve even 30 minutes of your life.

Cute movie. It really didn't need the romance subplot for Bell's character; it felt forced and disconnected from the rest of the movie (this isn't a rom-com, it's a coming of age story.) Loved the cameos by Dwayne Johnson & Cloris Leachman.

I might have been able to rate this as high as 20 or perhaps even 25 if it had more of Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson.

Nothing funny in this movie. The sense of conflict could be portrayed so much better, instead the director went for slapstick and failed.

I think this movie was trying to give a good message. After watching it, I don't have a clue what that message might be. It was such a muddled mess. It wants to say something about mean girls and high school rivalries, but everyone in the movie behaves horribly. And it is an insult to women.

Just awful. There are no good comedies to watch on Netflix.

You Again is not groundbreaking art, perhaps. But it is surprisingly funny and startlingly sweet. And I say that as a movie lover, a movie critic and a curse-counting curmudgeon. If this film had been made when I was a kid 30 or 35 years ago, it would have probably earned a G rating--right alongside the likes of Freaky Friday and Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo. (pluggedin.com)

How did they make Kristen Bell looks so bad. Braces, zits, etc. Cut to the future and she's beautiful and her brother is marrying her high school nemesis (Odette Annable) who bullied her. Even the moms (Jamie Lee Curtis and Sigourney Weaver) are old high school enemies. A few stupid moments are truly painful. The evil girl revealed at her rehearsal dinner. Understandable given their past. A few nice catfights. Haha even the grandmas are enemies. All a bit cheesy but still fun.

No matter how old you are, you never get over high school. Successful PR pro Marni (Kristen Bell) heads home for her older brother's (Jimmy Wolk) wedding and discovers that he's marrying her high school arch nemesis (Odette Yustman), who's conveniently forgotten all the rotten things she did so many years ago. Then the bride's jet-setting aunt (Sigourney Weaver) bursts in and Marni's not-so-jet-setting mom (Jamie Lee Curtis) comes face to face with her own high school rival. The claws come out a

Tries to appeal to teens, young women and their mothers and ends up appealing to no one. Curtis and Weaver are good, but it doesn't help much.

Dire, zero-laughs "comedy" which comes across as fake at every turn and utterly fails to capture any essence of conflict, rivalry, revenge, or any of the things it should have been aiming for. The directing is weak, especially in any action-based or slapstick scenes. It's like watching a student fumbling with the camera. The actors are given lines to say but these lines are so out of tune with reality that none of the performances come close to a convincing act. Do yourself a favour and avoid.

I love how the patriarch sets the rules once in a while, when the "females go wild". I find it interesting that it's acceptable in a so-called "chick-flick", men do not take the stage very often, but when they do, they bring much-needed order and rationality to this world.
