Yakuza Wolf

Sonny Chiba is good i n the lead role in this film. There are some good action scenes but some story as well. The story is well paced it does no drag on. Overall I would recommend this film.

While there wasn't a lot of depth to the characters here, it didn't hurt the movie too much since this played out more like a Western than a typical gangster film. This was one of Chiba's stoic roles, which just shows how versatile he was since he starred in over 10 movies during 1972/3 in a variety of genres and types of roles. The biggest downside to the movie is that it just drags on for too long.
