Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort

I give it points for actually being different, however it feels like a B-Rate porno...and that genre is already pretty B-Rate. This movie just feels like some taboo incest fantasy porn that you would find on PornHub. Not much is there in terms of story or characters, though that's not surprising. The kills aren't really that creative, outside maybe one. There just isn't anything here that is actually worth watching, but I've been accustomed to that for the last 4 films.

Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort contains an uninteresting mystery and a great deal of kills that aren't particularly creative, scary, or gruesome. If you're coming into this movie for that, you'll be disappointed. In comparison to earlier Wrong Turn films, it has more nudity, but that's the only real difference. We're focusing on the same antagonists, still killing off nameless, personality-less young adults, and it's just as boring as I'm making it sound right now.

Can't decide if it wants to be a horror movie or a porn movie. Lots of sex scenes, nudity, more sex, hey okay someone dies there, too. The idea was okay with trying a different thing with family mysteries and bloodlines but it was just boring, so boring. And stupid.

There are two distinct and nearly separate stories going on here. One is about a secret society of inbred purist and the other about a trio of mutated inbred cannibalistic hillbillies. Now while neither of them are very good the secret society plot is at least interesting and showed promise, the other story however was complete shit. How the Fuck this franchise continues to survive is beyond logic. This entry sticks with the empty-horror-franchise-sequel formula of unlikeable characters being slaughtered. A formula that played out and lost relevancy a decade ago. The franchise is deluded if it thinks it can pull this crap off the way Freddy or Jason did, tbh the inbred killers are more irritating that interesting, and the kills lack bravado. Some stupid shit in this one that adds lame backstory to the inbreds. Like we care.
