Making fun of women's liberation groups back when it was only in its second wave, made all the more scathing with the lead women characters played by transsexuals (and Valerie Solanas worshiping ones at that). This is a bizarre comedy of sorts where the utterly horrifically misandrist "women" get together and compare rape stories, talk about how useless men are, and generally get nothing done for women's liberation -- ohh, how things haven't changed.

Or, perhaps more appropriately, Revolting "Women". Pauline Kael: "Three transvestites in a porno burlesque of women's liberation. It sounds like fun, but it isn't. The subject is really the fantasies of Andy Warhol's "superstars;" the dialogue is flat and the camera seems glued to the blemishes on the performers' rumps and thighs." It SO isn't fun. Except maybe when Martin Kove is romping naked with Holly Woodlawn. I had no idea he was so beautiful back then.

It has some nice moments, where they mock those Women's Liberation groups, Hollywood, and etc.. But it's boring, most of the time. Check out Paul Morrissey's 'Heat' instead of this.
