Holy crap, this is bad. Main actor should be banned from ever acting again. Lily-Rose Depp is only in this because of her last name. She is horrible. Terrible piece of shit move!

It has an interesting and intriguing setup. It makes you wonder where the film is going and how it's going to explain things. Spoiler: It doesn't explain things. At all. Quite disappointing. I can think of several ways it could have gone instead of the fully predictable outcome. It's like they wrote half a film.

not so good

very doubtful. Reminds a bit Lanthimos but it's even much much worse. As allegory it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. As cinematography it tries to look artsy but it is not.

I can't finish this and feel bad even rating. I appreciate the allegory or metaphor for being trans but this was ridiculous to watch. MacKay being shirtless so much didn't even make up for how awkward everything was. Not the right kind of uncomfortable.
