Though it's definitely not all bad, it makes the first movie look a lot better by comparison. The Paige character is a likeable heroine, but Dolenz' performance is honestly not so hot, & the rest of the cast isn't a whole lot better. The plot is a muddled, poorly scripted mess with iffy twists & subplots that go nowhere aplenty- the only thing it really has going for it is the unexpectedly cute romance. All said, it's definitely trying, but it just doesn't quite work.
