If this wasn't by Almereyda i would probably rate this lower, since in a lot of ways it's a pretty unexceptional documentary. Perhaps as to not overshadow Eggleston's work, Almereyda shows little of the visual sensibility of his fiction films (so no PixelVision this time, sadly) and sticks to low-quality shaky digital video. That said, i really loved Almereyda's poetic/philosophical narration and there are a few compelling verite moments here and there.
