Decent british low budget comedy. Although plot is predictable as it can be, actors did great job(well most of them). Biggest minus is plot and loose ends.

The surrogate family schtick is a little contrived, but mostly enjoyable (aside from the inevitable romance that didn't feel quite right in its huge age gap), thanks to a great set of amusingly contrasting characters played with charm and wit by the three leads (Freeman's devilish bad guy is great as well). A simple on-the-run romp plot brings lots of slapstick laughs in addition to a delightful thread of dark comedy surrounding the central "hitman with a heart" and his family business.

This one has the potential to be right next to Shoot 'em Up - it is equally ridiculous and fun but is missing just that final touch to take it to 11

This film starts off well but it ends up loosing steam. The script could have used a rewrite. The cast tries their best but can't overcome the limitations of the script. Overall this movie is disappointing.

Remake of the 1993 French film Cible émouvante. Bill Nighy looks effortlessly cool in a suit. Emily Blunt is cute and has good comedic timing. But story and comedy is lost translation.

Farcical British comedy that isn't funny. A great cast completely wasted with such a weak script and poor direction.

The first half was terribly annoying, the second half was OK. No depth to the characters, none of which are likable, nor to the plot. Emily Blunt is the worst, and more so than ever in this film. I don't really know why this film exists.

Don't remember it too well. Story must have been a little unbalanced at times, but Wild Target is carried on my the leading roles.

Has some good humor and interesting characters. Bill Nighy is perfect as an eccentric hitman. The romance angle felt unnatural and weird, though.

Great pun on the expression: Half now - half later! very funny and somewhat eccentric. However, the ending was a bit disappointing.

I've seen several great Hitman comedies: Hitman, Kill me Later, You Kill Me... This doesn't top them, but it's certainly in the zone!

Utterly charming comedy with some delightful eccentric touches, including an inspired comic and kooky performance by Blunt. Nighy is also wonderful and unusually restrained; Grint is least interesting, but still fine. Also benefits from offbeat casting of Freeman as ever-grinning killer, and accident prone Fisher, who reminded me of Ray "Bones" in GET SHORTY. Director Lynn keeps things bubbling along nicely, and imbues the film with a welcome shot of genuine sweetness.

Most of the characters are derivative and the plot lacks some of the thrill needed for the genre. Grint seems almost like an afterthought and Blunt is a tad boorish, despite her character's quirks. However, the restraint in Nighy's performance showcases a graceful strength that gives the film it's charm. His hitman expertise and attention to detail (mixed with anti-social tendencies) lend to an exhibition that could be described as a light, humorous deconstruction of Léon from The Professional.

I generally like Nighy and Blunt is hawt + plus strange to see Everett's plastic face. Decent silly entertainment (reminiscent of RED also from 2010, but slightly better) that borders on the annoying and crosses that line a few times.

"Wild Target neatly and boringly makes a surrogate family out of its ill-matched trio of caricatures, and its epilogue of domesticity is enough to make you reach for your revolver." - Bill Weber

Very cheap comedy, just the way i hate it.. Even Emily Blunt's cuteness couldn't save this one, Grint's characters dialogs were so stupid.. For me it was quite a boring watch

This is hilarious. A great witty comedy done on a low budget. The plot's predictable, but that doesn't detract from the film at all. I never new Bill Nighy was a comic genius.
