Ben Hall offers $1000 for the wild Devil Horse which Jim Wright and Skeeter capture. While Jim is away, Gil Davis kills Skeeter and takes the horse. The Sheriff then arrests Jim for Skeeter's murder. But unknown to them, an outlaw witnessed the killing. (imdb)

Always happy to come across a Hoot Gibson western. They are usually not much better then the other cheap westerns, but he's such a different character compared to the other cowboys in Hollywood, blending more a comic presence into the cowboy mix. Wild Horse (1931) is average stuff. The most awesome part of this poverty row'er is that they actually managed to get Stepin Fetchit to do the comic relief!!!
