John Travolta grates and William H. Macy slums. What the hell WAS this? I saw it in the theater expecting to have a laugh at its expense, but it was just so painfully unfunny I couldn't bare it after an hour. Mindlessly sexist and homophobic. OMG A GAY COP WANTS TO BUTTFUCK MIDDLE-AGED MEN! MARTIN LAWRENCE'S WIFE HAS A CAREER, SO HE'S A CASTRATED SHE-MALE! No chemistry between the four central characters, and their friendship was never explained. I feel poisoned.

This movie should have been a 2 hour drama about William H. Macy having a midlife crisis and going out on the road while his wife played by Meryl Streep deals with the dying flame of their relationship by planning on making him a cuckold. When he returns from his deep insightful road trip she presents him with the bull played by Terry Crewes. This destroys the new-found purpose and passion for his wife Macy had found on the road so he takes a bunch of Flexeril and drives his bike off a bridge.

Wild Hogs is a middle-aged buddy movie, and it doesn't try to be anything more. It's no epic comedy, but it's overall quite fun. It works surprisingly well for a young adult crowd as well, thanks to plenty of well-rounded humor and the degree at which the actors compliment each-others personalities. They all very different kinds of actors, and it works nicely. Pretty good!

With the amount of obnoxious actors in this movie, I really had low expectations for how good it would be. But, I have to say, it kinda suprised me..meaning, I laughed more than I should have.

A terrible movie. Pretty much a recycle of the movie Three Amigos. While the Three Amigos was so bad it's okay this one was just lame. There wasn't a laugh to be had throughout the whole movie. Hell I think I only smiled twice the entire time.

Mistakes - 1) In the scene where the Wild Hogs are driving past the bikers' bar, Woody uses his throttle hand to show the bikers his middle finger, yet the bike is still able to accelerate.

There's just something so 'Hallmark' about Tim Allen and most of the movies in which he appears, and that special kind of 'charm' is on full display here. A good time in the league of trying bumper cars after you've gotten your driver's license.

I think it's time to admit that Tarantino made a huge mistake bringing Travolta back from obscurity. What a horrible actor. Tim Allen has always sucked, but the usually solid Macy is totally wasted in this.

Silly road trip comedy about a group of bored middle aged men trying to escape the grinding monotony of their humdrum lives by hitting the open road. Along the way they cross paths with a violent gang of real bikies who take offense at their poserish antics. Wild Hogs boasts a solid cast of actors who generally work well together, and there is no denying that the film gets a lot of mileage out of their moronic weekend warrior mentality, but the gags are tame and predictable.

I wanted to like this because of the cast a and the premise is a decent one but the jokes are so over the top it fails to really matter or make a difference by the time this film ends. There is a lot of criticism about different casting, but all the issues here are with the lack of well thought out jokes. Comedy should never feel forced. Situations should never feel forced. It should be able to naturally flow and not need to be pushed forward by shenanigans and off the wall antics.

If there is something I hate, it is forced American humor and bad acting. This movie has an abundance of both; it is just so awkward, cringe-worthy and just really bad. The idea is bland, the execution is just terrible but I am sure everyone had the best of intentions to make this a fun little wacky movie about middle-class men but it just doesn't work. I mean, even Tenacious D are in this excruciating film. Wild Hogs is the prototype for a bad American comedy movie for intolerable white people.

From top to bottom an absolutely god-awful movie. Just from watching this, you would get the impression that Travolta couldn't act his way out of a paper bag. Tim Allen is Tim Allen so yeah. But even the usually so-solid Macy and Liotta are ridiculous and very very bad in this movie. It seems the older he gets, the more awful movie choices Liotta makes. All of this mixed with random meaningless cameos and an awful deux ex machina in the end makes for one very bad movie.

This movie was... all right. In some areas it seemed marketed for kids, and then in others it seemed to be marketed for adults (like the beginning). I do not recommend that you watch this if you're looking for something deeper than a few shallow jokes and some dudes on some Harleys. Let me just say though, those bikes looked amazing - and I wish there were more biking movies around.

When did Martin Lawrence get so fat? And when did they start paying him by the "ass"? Say something, and then add "ass" to the end = joke. Macy is the best character in the film. Tim Allen needs to go away. However, overall, the film was not as bad as it could have been. Good movie to watch on a plane.

The first 45 minutes or so was full of random chuckles, but I was paranoid the movie was going to turn into Without a Paddle. To my surprise, it picked up a lot the last half. Lawrence reminds us he can be funny, although most of the laughs come from Macy and Travolta. The best part goes to Travolta, who is having a good year so far, with his awesome hissyfit in the diner.

How this movie made off with $168 million at the box office I can't comprehend. Tim Allen and Martin Lawrence out of desperation would understandably do movies like this-- but Travolta and Bill Macy (who are awful in this), and even Ray Liotta? This movie is forced-upon from the first frame and doesn't let up; it's laugh-less and stupid. One of the worst of 2007, try "City Slickers" instead.
