This is not a good film, but I would still recommend watching it. Definitely has the feel of a film being rewritten as it was being shot. Bette Davis disappears from the film and becomes a smoking cat. My head hurts just remembering what I watched. Feels like a fever dream.

All you need to know about this is that Bette Davis was so revolted by it she walked off the production a few days into shooting. (Second billed is someone named Camp...alas, it doesn't come close to delivering on THAT promise.) Apparently Davis even had script approval, a provision that was not honored. Even so, I did laugh a couple of times in spite of myself.
