And you thought Clouseau was an incompetent detective! I like to think that Orson Welles was a fan of this film (keeping in mind that Mary Wickes was a member of Welles' 'The Mercury Theatre on the Air'). It's the epitome of a fun night at the movies, and is likely the best cinematic showcase of the comedy genius that was Abbott and Costello.

We need more comedies where the characters runs through walls leaving their caricatures as if in a cartoon! Give me more of Bud Abbott & Lou Costello as crime snoopers! Costello is one of the most lovable fools there is!

A very fast paced film. Just moves from gag to gag, as it should.I loved the meta joke about the radio and the gag of Costello reacting to the record player. Also the poster uploaded to here is great.

One of my favorite Bud and Lou's, mostly thanks to the lack of musical numbers. I particularly liked the part where they complain about those two guys doing that same "Who's On First " skit on their radio.
