Ha, in categorizing the genre of "White Chicks", Criticker files it under "Comedy, Crime"... and indeed it is a CRIME. Truly awful and idiotically outlandish. The Wayans brothers dressed up in their "white girl" drag look like women in a schizophrenic's nightmare, and much to the viewer's horror THE OTHER CHARACTERS BUY IT. This movie really is as shitty as it looks.

Lacking both style and substance alike, "White Chicks" should be by all rights as big of a disaster as it sounds, an immature, dumb, and vapid little wreck of a movie that never should've seen the light of day. But by some miracle, the Wayans decided they were going to make a real film this time around, still as segmented and ridiculous as their parody fare, but with a plot and characters, playing more like "Miss Congeniality" than "Scary Movie". Is it stupid? Absolutely. Is it funny? Oh yes.

Is this racist? Is this transphobic? ...I honestly have no idea. There's a entire master's thesis in gender studies and/or race relations just waiting to be written about this film. I think the way that White Chicks straddles the line between being subversive and offensive is kinda impressive actually, now if only the film was actually funny or entertaining though. (Terry Crews is great, though)

This was the first time I've ever watched this, and the only thing I really knew going into was Terry Crews and that song. I'll admit I chuckled a few times, mostly because of Terry Crews, but man this isn't good. The Wayans are okay, they're the star of the show, but this is just like their other movies. They're just too over the top, even with the title "White Chicks" I felt so annoyed by them at times. To be honest though, I would rather watch this again than a lot of movies, and that's okay.

This humor just isn't my style. White Chicks is undeniably amusing for it's leads dressing in drag and of the opposite race, but this was just so crude I couldn't call it well balanced or even.

if a movie was made, which has two white guys dress up as blacks and basically just bash themselves with every stereotype imaginable, there'd be riots in the streets to prohibit its release due to racist content. this way around it seems perfectly fine. weird. oh, and also this "movie" is the worst piece of shit i have seen in a decade.

Sometime i 2003 Crossroads and Big Momma's House met, got drunk and had a lovechild. This bastard's name was White Chicks. Short of the movie Little Man and perhaps one or two others this is the worst movie in the history of cinema. I am pretty sure this movie is being broadcasted around the clock at Guantanamo and used instead of waterboarding. SATAN THY NAME IS WAYANS!!!

The first time I watched this, couldn't even go all the way. Then, months later, hanging out with some friends, one of them points out that the "white chicks" looks just like a girl we know... and that just cracked us all, hell, even now we laugh when we remember that day. But in the end, the movie plain sucks.

Terry Crews is funny, as per usual. Everything else? Oh gawd. Words...failing me. I had nightmares about this film, and not just because it is utterly terrible, but because the Wayans in their white girl suits is actually a horrific sight to behold -- enough to induce vomiting. I one day hope to block this from my mind.

Maybe some of it's just nostalgia because I loved watching this with my brother when we were younger, and I'm okay with admitting that, but I have a good time with it. I look this wall of red reviews and think, "Who are all these people that came into a Wayans brothers movie expecting art?" Like, maybe exercise some situational awareness and realize you don't have to shit on movies for which you're not the target audience. This movie is for fun. Just laugh, golly.

Leaden semi-riff on SOME LIKE IT HOT has a couple of scatological gags that work, and an appearance from Crews that is nothing if not committed, but with no real tension to the crime story, and a tendency to run gags into the ground (Norah Jones) rather than develop them, the film becomes a heinous ordeal in the second half, not helped by the Wayans' *very* unconvincing drag acts. An utter waste of time and talent.

I don't know about what it says about me that I would willing watch this movie again and laugh, but I assume it means nothing good. The movie is plenty stupid and immature, but I'm also plenty stupid and immature so we match. It has comedy and a great deal of ridiculous to go along with it - so what? I recommend this for people who don't care, are drunk, just want a good laugh and refuse to get butthurt just because they liked it.

This is a must-see for anyone out there who hates cinema. It's an all-round family-fun-flick filled with all-round family-fun slapstick laughs and farts and boobies. If, of course, you are not a hilariously inappropriate family, then you might not enjoy the hilariously inappropriate theme this all-round family-flick is built around, but you could be forgiven for indeed thinking it appropriate, if only it were hilarious.

Mistakes - 1) In the first scene with Marcus and Kevin dressed up as women, they walk to the hotel counter and knock things off the rack. Depending on the camera angle, the things spilled on the counter such as the cup, pencils and pens disappear, reappear and change position. 2) When the Vandergeld sisters are on stage at the fashion show, they hear a sound and look up and see the buckets of paint. In the next shot, their heads are down as the paint hits.

It was funny at times and a good movie to see just once. Some situations were predictable and the plot a bit old. Nonetheless something you can watch when you just want to stare at the TV and laugh at silly things.
