Your average cheap western of the 30s. Ken Maynard did look motivated though. Much more then usual anyway. I guess he was happy to get some work after falling out of favor with just about everyone with his obnoxious attitude. He used to be a legit star. One of the biggest cowboy stars in Hollywood. By 1938 he was struggling, but at least he put in an effort here and even seemed to have a good time. Not that any effort was going to increase the viewing pleasure of a poverty row western too much.
