"When the Redskins Rode" is a low-budget 1950s Western set in 1753, with its historical connection limited primarily to the names of characters. Although it aimed to portray Native Americans favorably, the film has not aged well; it is offensive due to its outdated and insensitive depictions.

Woke, 1950s-style. The film means well, but the delivery is more than questionable. Loved them blaming all the racism on the French, and only on the French. From a story point of view the Native American gets to be the hero, at least, and it's shot in nice color, but the movie has issues.
