When a Man's a Man

A George O'Brien western. And he's a laid-back drifter who ends up showing himself a man helping to save a ranch from drought. For a cowboy film there is surprisingly little shooting. But there is a certain suspense anyway with the love triangle, the rival ranch and the taming of the wild horse. And look for that taming! Impressive stuff managing to sit tight as the horse keeps falling over in his attempts to drop him off! Not sure what animal right groups would think. But spectacular it was!
