They really hit the jackpot with this one. I don't know how a seven minute cartoon about a pig and a rabbit could get any better than this.

Probably the best Looney Tunes short ever. Kill the wabbit!

The best Looney Tune ever made. This is on par with the greatest short films you've ever seen, and probably better.

A comedy of pent-up homosexual lust in right-wing America. Also, it contains a really fat horsey.

Possibly Jones' greatest short, but it's tough to say. 'What's Opera, Doc?' is a classic to say the least. It's really too bad kids these days aren't subjected to the Looney Toons on a regular basis.

Closest thing to a Looney Toons Fantasia, complete with fat lady jokes. God bless you Chuck and Mel.

The perfect example of how reference pools don't have to be low brow - even when your primary audience is kids.

He scales the mountain, because he's not afraid of it. He slays the dragon, because he's not afraid of him. And he walks through hellfire... because Ehhhh what’s up, doc? KILL DA WABBIT! KILL DA WABBIT!

One of the greatest cartoons ever made. Hilarious, stylized, culturally savvy, and with the best twist ending ever in a Bugs Bunny cartoon.

The usual Looney Tunes tropes, with a sort of operatic framework to class it up. Deathly unfunny and badly animated.

I defy anyone who's seen this cartoon to listen to Wagner's Tannhauser Overture (the work Jones & Co. took all the music from) and not start singing "Oh Bwun Hilda, You're so wuvwy --- Yes I know it, I can't help it..."

Had I seriously not ranked this yet? By far the high point of the Bugs v. Elmer series. Maurice Noble's layouts must have been a challenge to make the characters inhabit believably. That first pan down to Elmer is goddamn beautiful. Imagine this in a theater!

I saw this numerous times in random classes as I traversed my way through elementary school. Very entertaining short, and I'll never ever forget the "Kill da Wabbit!" part of the music.
