What Our Fathers Did: A Nazi Legacy

Really quite upsetting in places, watching two entirely opposite reactions to the terrible burden of being the son of a mass-murderer. The scene at the memorial just outside Lviv is utterly heartbreaking.

It's not all interesting but watching the mental contortions of a jewophile nazi apologist -as they happen- was fascinating.

Quite intersting to see two opposites points of views so squared off against each other. However this is also the weak point of this documentary. Instead of exploring all that's in between Philippe Sands is biased by what happened to his own family, understandably, but it leaves the documentary feeling more like a prosecution instead of trying to truly understand either son.
