Ashton Kutcher should act in movies in which he acts as a dumb guy, why thats what he is and he can be himself. Cameron Diaz should only be made to look hot on the screen and not anything else. The attempted cheap laughter dont make you laugh either. Could have been made into a good movie, but whatever. Enough said about this movie.

Rob Corddry is the funniest thing in this but that's not a rare thing. Not bad for a light studio comedy, I'm not a fan of Diaz ever though. Worried when Latifah showed up too but she's in a "little bit funny but semi serious" role and she's great in those

I caught this on TV on a boring Monday evening when I had nothing else to do and for that it was a fairly ok timepasser. I suppose it could have been a lot worse, but it did provide a few laughs. Still I guess you would know what to expect just from reading the description and seeing the cast.

Basically a retread of HOW TO LOSE A GUY…, this is hampered by the “feature not a bug” that the lead characters have to behave like petulant teenagers to make the premise work (though props to Miller’s aptly named Judge Whopper who doesn’t even attempt to make his ruling legally plausible). Diaz and Kutcher are actually fun to watch (and Corddry has some amusing interjections from the sidelines); nothing special, but elevated slightly by its across-the-board self-awareness of its own silliness.

Mistake - The sticker that Diaz has stuck to a character's dress drops several inches in the next shot, and in the shot after that, it changes from being straight to being skewiff.

The best thing about "What Happens in Vegas..." is the title. The flick is bound to its premise. The only reason Jack and Joy hate each other is because the story requires them too. A movie about two people who meet, accidentially marry, strike it rich and live happily ever after would be too easy. Yet, that's exactly how the movie ends. I'm sure I'm not spoiling anything, as this movie is as cookie cutter as a movie can be. Rob Corddry wins the flick some points, which is forgettable otherwise.

This film was quite literally beaten to death in the ratings, and it does have it's faults: it's edited very quickly, it has very little back story... It just gets right into the laughs with no dragging its feet, and for those of us who see that as a virtue: THIS FILM IS AWESOME! If you liked The Holiday, I suspect you'll like this.

If Crutcher and Diaz were standing in front of you, it would be hard to imagine them in any type of relationship. The chemistry between them is THAT bad. However, despite the horrible miscasting and "average" war-of-the-sexes script, both do surprisingly well in the delivery of material. Supporting male vs. female cast members (ironically with better chemistry) fare well also. Undoubtedly, the movie could have been better, but it produces enough laughs that I recommend it for rental.

There's no denying that this one has a few cheap laughs, but Kutcher seems to be rehashing his previous "Just Married" flick. Everything here is contrived to such an absurd extreme that you can't even care about the characters or the plot. The movie's not unwatchable, but it's not that funny and you always know exactly where it's going.

Its a fun date movie. There isn't a whole lot more to it than that. However if you really want to make your date laugh with an Ashton Kutcher film, I would recommend you go rent Just Married instead. It is much more original and fresh than this film.
