This felt like a unfinished China story. And in a weird manner they gave sympathy to the wrong characters. For one, they made the evil Boris Karloff a human. And then they went on and made Gordon Oliver and Beverly Roberts the favored couple even if they co-operated with the enemy and betrayed Beverly's husband Ricardo Cortez in order to get him killed so not needing a divorce?! It's a decent picture with plenty of action, but in the end something was lacking once it was over.
