Welcome to the Jungle

Like one of those perfectly round snowballs in old bugs Bunny cartoons, the oddball story starts off somewhat likable/believable, but then balloons into a 30-foot gelid sphere-of-death as it picks up speed, bounding uncontrollably down the mountain until it crashes into your grandma's house and crushes her under 3000 pounds of packed rime...which Van Damme then splits-punches (in slow motion), sending the ice flying all the way back to Greenland. I think Daffy Duck was in that one.

Huebel and Van Damme get to play some extremely silly characters, which are slightly amusing. Other than that the film is terrible.

You can tell this is going to be a bad comedy from the opening scenes just listening to the music - it's like John Carpenter knew how to do atmospheric tense synth scores, this is the same thing but with a bad comedy score that just has an instantly recognisable plinky hum of a string quartet.

It was so bad that I couldn't make it past the first half hour. In comedy, timing is everything, but this movie failed to structure their jokes well. Pass.

The movie starts off good and seems to be pretty funny in an "The office" kind of way but after the disappearance of JCVD (whose the best part of this) just short after landing on the island the movie turns to shit almost immediately.

Bad movie, but every scene with JCV is funny. He has talent.

The girl was good looking i guess.

Nice script, some fun moments, overall - entertaining experience. However, I really start to hate movies that base some of their humor on curse words.
