"Welcome to Hard Times" is a violent western that visually resembles a Spaghetti Western. Its storyline is highly dramatic and different from other Burt Kennedy westerns. The absence of a conventional hero might not be appealing to everyone.

Sometimes you tape a flick no one has seen and get a gem. This happens a decent amount with the "western" genre but other times you realize why no one gives a fuck about this movie. Piddling performances and limp visuals.
