A run of the mill screwball comedy with Cary Grant! A very light affair trying to be much more cute then what it is. He has a romance with fellow reporter Joan Bennett but when he gets promoted as editor the pressure makes him fire her and she gets engaged to Conrad Nagel. And the rest of the movie is Grant trying to win her back and he's got a bunch of stupid characters helping him do it. Grant & Bennett does have chemistry, but the comedy bit is off and becomes a little annoying when it fails.
