We Still Kill the Old Way

Gut wrenching thriller about a lame and romantic high school teacher that tries to fight for the passion of a woman, or maybe justice, or maybe both, all to end up neutralized by the society antibodies. It's that kind of great thriller where the question is more "who are those characters? what are their motivations?" than simply "who is the killer?". The political intrigue can be less interesting, so many years later, in a very different world.

Great cast, but not a top-tier Petri by any stretch. It's a sort of Giallo with themes of class warfare and a romantic subplot, an overused Italian recipe with not enough oomph to make this example stand out.
